The travel trade promotes the province as a destination to tour professionals throughout North America and within some markets internationally. Tourism Saskatchewan's goal is to have Saskatchewan itineraries and travel packages included in travel brochures which are promoted and distributed to consumers looking to book their next travel experience.

The best way to do this is to have travel influencers, such as tour operators and travel agents, experience the product we have to offer first hand. Familiarization (FAM) tours allow the travel influencer to experience what their clients will be experiencing. In addition, it gives them the confidence and knowledge when they are promoting the product. FAM tours are hugely valuable and provide immense opportunity to get your product noticed.
